Siriadic Columns
According to Manetho, the Egyptian historian, Thoth, the first Hermes, set up in the Siriadic land two columns, before the Deluge, on which were inscribed the history of things past. Josephus says that one was of brick and one of stone to permit survival in case of fire or flood. He also says they were put up by Seth (? Set).
